Business Response Task Force II

At BENS, we believe in following up on our previous projects to measure the effectiveness and impact of our recommendations.  In that spirit, Business Response Task Force II is evaluating progress made over the past several years toward integrating the resources and capabilities of the private sector into disaster response efforts.  Using our 2007 Business Response Task Force report Getting Down to Business as a benchmark, BENS is measuring progress toward addressing legal barriers as well as use of Business Operations Center programs and private sector supply chain management and surge capabilities.  The BRTF II review, which began in Sept. 2009 and will be completed in spring 2010, is chaired by BENS member and 7-Eleven CEO Joe DePinto.
