Technology & Innovation Council

The BENS Technology and Innovation Council is open to BENS members with experience and interest in addressing key technology and innovation issues facing the U.S. national security community. The Council serves as a research and development platform, offering educational opportunities, incubating technology-specific efforts, and engaging subject matter expertise among relevant stakeholders. The T&I Council currently is exploring methodologies to secure the coming 5G network and its corresponding architecture. Acting as a trusted convener to bring together key actors in industry, academia, and/or government, the Council will analyze the underlying 5G cybersecurity challenge and offer ways forward to secure the 5G network and enhance overall network resiliency.
