Receptionist & Assistant to the CFO
Fran joined the organization in 2001 and serves as the “voice of BENS”. She functions as the office receptionist and the Assistant to the CFO. While providing front desk and telephone coverage, Fran also functions as the accounts payable coordinator, dispersing payments checks to vendors and staff members, as appropriate. Fran is an IBM retiree with 30 years of service and served as a political appointee under the Clinton Administration-White House Liaison for 6 years upon her retirement. Fran is a native Washingtonian, earning her degree in business administration, with academic honors, from the first land grant college in the District of Columbia – The Washington Technical Institute. Fran continues to reside in Washington, D.C. with her husband, George. They have three married children and six grandchildren.
